Wi-Flow
Cordlessness for freedom !
Have you ever thought about the time you spend plugging in and out your electrical devices, looking for extension cords – and what an irritation moment it is ?
A new technology for vacuum cleaners : with Wi-FLOW: 100 W = 1600 W !
Nielsen Innovation has developed and patented the Wi-FLOW high efficiency vacuum cleaner system.
With only 100W, you achieve the same cleaning efficiency as a traditional 1600W canister vacuum cleaner !
The technology opens up new prospects for cordless as well as corded floor care products.
Performance
Maximum efficiency! In standardized tests (IEC 60312), Wi-FLOW achieves the same dust pickup performance as the best corded canister vacuum cleaners. With Wi-Flow, the pressure drop is reduced and the airflow increased generating an outstanding cleaning performance.
Effortless! Thanks to Wi-FLOW, an optimized suction system makes the vacuum cleaner easier to handle and much lighter.
Clean environment
With the Wi-Flow technology, approximately 90% of the electricity used to run typical vacuum cleaners is saved!
On the handheld versions, even smaller batteries are required!
These vacuum cleaners are ecofriendly as they require less raw material and smaller motors.
Prospect
An efficient cordless vacuum cleaner whether bagless or with bags! The Wi-flow technology makes it possible to develop cordless as well as corded versions with the same cleaning efficiency!
New values for the consumer! Wi-flow introduces new values such as freedom, mobility, user-friendliness and timesaving.
Trendsetting designs
The first version under production is a lightweight upright, vacuum cleaner. Always ready, it is ideal for small spaces or for supplementary cleaning. Very light, it is easier to handle than any other comparable product in the market and will soon be available in other versions: handhelds, handsticks… Its various trendsetting designs highlight its power and mobility and appeal to consumers around the world.
Making an existing product cordless while keeping the same level of performance requires quite a number of creative solutions for each power-consuming function in the product. If you want to make a 1600 Watt vacuum cleaner cordless by using existing battery technology, you end up with 15 kg of batteries and a price nobody can afford ! By searching (finding and patenting…) new solutions for each power-consuming function, we have created a vacuum cleaner that has the same cleaning efficiency (confirmed by independent test laboratories) as the ones of the leading brands on the market, but with only 2kg of batteries and a lower cost price. We have named this technology Wi-Flow ® and we continue to develop new, economical, high-performing cordless solutions for the home."
