Only two years were needed to become a leader in the area of bike lights

Two years after having launched the first Reelight lights, this start-up has already become market leader in several countries. With no rolling resistance, these permanently fitted magnet lights flash when the wheels rotate. The high-quality light diodes in the front and the back of the bike increase the safety drastically. The number of accidents in Denmark has been reduced so much (32%) thanks to Reelight that the government decided to change the law and make flashing lights legal.

Co-founder of Reelight Aps, Nielsen Innovation helped the inventor Troels Pedersen in the early stages before creating the company. New designs have also been made by NI for lighter magnets easier to fit. Thanks to its industrial experience on an international level, NI managed to cut the cost price significantly with a simpler design, less parts and optimized industrial negotiations.
